It was recently reported that two American astronauts currently living in the International Space Station (ISS) had a lengthy plumbing session.

NASA astronauts Scott Kelly and Kjell Lindgren spent just under eight hours in space performing necessary plumbing maintenance on the ISS’s system.

Their mission was to reconfigure and add ammonia to the station’s port side cooling system, an act NASA referred to as “high-flying plumbing.”

The spacewalk also happened to be what has been described as 'a mild milestone', being the 90th spacewalk outside of the International Space Station.
